Of late, Sarah Jessica Parker has had floaty, floral, summer-in-the-city dresses on heavy rotation. And as New York’s balmy temperatures cool, the Sex And The City actor is taking one transitional accessory into autumn with her: her glitter-festooned Cosette Bis heels from her eponymous shoe collection.

For a recent visit to her Manhattan store, where she’s been helping customers pick out Carrie Bradshaw-worthy shoes since July, SJP wore a sleek black midi dress with a matching protective face mask. With a cross-body bag complete with hot-pink strap slung across her front, and the rest of her belongings stashed in a practical backpack, Parker looked every inch the commuter on-the-go – with the exception of her sparkly shoes, which were a little more special than the average pair you might spy on the Tube. But we should expect nothing less from the woman who played one of the most fashion-conscious characters in small-screen history.

SJP has been styling her favourite shoes of the moment with an array of outfits, not just dresses. She was previously seen in a silver pair with laid-back jeans and a relaxed white blouse. Parker can switch up her silhouettes with ease.
In true Carrie-style, she slipped on a different pair of glittery heels – the Nirvana style – when she got inside the store. Added sparkle, it seems, is Sarah-Jessica’s new autumn essential.
