Sarah Jessica Parker Wore the Denim Brand That’s About to Blow Up

Sarah Jessica Parker’s shoes never fail to impress, and while strolling around NYC in mid-October, the actress made a splash in a pair of glitzy lace-up heels from her eponymous shoe line. But there’s a key reason her shoes shined as much as they did — and it had to do with her jeans.

Cropped, cuffed, and with a wide-leg silhouette, SJP’s jeans were a trifecta of awesome. Had she worn long, floor-grazing denim, her SJP Chaucer Oxford Pumps would have been covered up. Vintage-esque denim at just the right length isn’t easy to come by, but Parker’s jeans, from under-the-radar label, Ética, are proof you don’t need to spend hours in a thrift store to find the perfect pair.

The brand, which is available at Nordstrom, has slowly but surely blown up on the celeb street-style scene, with a fan base that includes Charlize Theron, Brie Larson, Jessica Alba, and now Parker, according to the brand. Aside from churning out the best vintage-inspired denim in the game (and at a super good price point), all of Ética’s ultra-flattering jeans are sustainably made — which means they’re good for your butt and less harmful to the earth. Double win.

SJP’s exact pants are still available at Nordstrom for $168, though we have a feeling now that people know about them, they’ll sell out in the blink of an eye. The actor’s Tyler jeans are vintage-inspired to a T, boasting a straight-leg cut and a light wash.

Other standout styles from Ética include these sleek skinnies with button detailing, these raw-hem flares that offer the perfect amount of stretch, and these high-rise flares that’ll pair perfectly with your favorite pointed-toe boots. To sum it up, there’s something for every type of denim lover included in Ética’s range.
